This week, together with the Home Front Command, emergency drills were carried out at Rambam as well as two other Haifa hospitals: Carmel Medical Center and Bnei Zion Medical Center. The move follows Israel’s transition to the highest level of preparedness—Level 4—which requires refreshing protocols and preparing the healthcare system for a range of emergency scenarios, including those involving the treatment of victims exposed to hazardous materials.
Exercises were conducted for mass‑casualty incidents and rocket fire
The drills were designed to assess the operational performance of medical teams, equipment, and infrastructure in various emergency situations.
